This project started with a focus on making the home more accessible for the owner's aging parents. A shaft for the four-stop elevator was carefully incorporated into the front façade with a minor addition to the roofline. Once the work was under way, the owners took the opportunity to open up the main floor and entry area, modernize the kitchen and dining areas and remodel the existing bathrooms. See before pictures.
